Children of the Andes Project Mirade a Colombia ~ Looking at Colombia

In March 2002 Rachel received a London Arts Board "Go" Award to visit Colombia in South America to fulfil a project for Children of the Andes Charity. Rachel visited street children projects in Bogata and the surrounding countryside supported by Cota.

Storm Over Bogota

Seeing first hand the wretched plight of the displaced families and children living on the streets, the immense beauty of the country and the joy of the Colombian spirit, Rachel witnessed how, despite extreme circumstances, individuals, unbelievably, retain their sense of hope.
